HI Guys, Alex Munro here, local lad from up north - Oldshoremore - near sandwood. So i am hopefully going to train this coming year and see how i get on!! But more importantly I am looking into running the himalaya's sometime in the near future - maybe next summer or the summer after - more likly the summer after. Maybe the Rockie this coming summer since it is less hassle with visa's ect. I have been reading a book called 'The Himilayan Shuffle' written by a man who i met called Edward Ley-Wilson. Very interesting read - he run the Himilaya's!! I have a friend who raises money for Highland Hospice - it is there 20th anniversiary next year. I also have a friend who's father in law own's a big travel/writing company!! I have sent both these people copies of this book, i am researching.. But i still have one copy to give to someone!! I was hoping that i could forward it to: Richard Haldane MBE. Is this the man who arranged the run around the UK in 2000 and also the same man who arranged to the run across Russia?
